Valerie Johnson
President
Hi! I’m Valerie Johnson and I grew up in this area. I am so grateful to be the President of the PTA that my husband and I went to school at. We went to Lynn Fanning until sixth grade, so it is crazy to us to see how much our community has grown. We have a college graduate who just got married, a fourth grader at MMIS who loves basketball and soccer, and a second grader at LFES who loves dance and cheer. I love how PTA connects us to the school and gives us a chance to meet so many new families. We make a great team and couldn’t do this without each other!
Brittany Rousset
Vice President
My name is Brittany Rousset and I am the Vice President of the PTA. I am a mom to a second grader at this school and a little one at home. I have enjoyed every moment of my duties thus far. What I love most about this PTA is how welcoming they are of any type of help. Some of us on the board work while others, like myself, bring along little helpers. We are all made to feel welcome with any type of help we can give and are able to show off our strengths through different types of service to this school. My position here gives me the opportunity to give back to those that are helping my little girl succeed and it also allows me to brainstorm new and fun ideas to help our kids enjoy their school year. I look forward to seeing what this school year brings!
Christina Lindblad

Hi! I’m Christina Lindblad. I am the Treasurer for the 2024-2025 school year. In addition to my duties as the Treasurer I teach preschool part time. I have a daughter in the second grade here at LFES. We are so happy to be a part of this sweet school. I joined the PTA so I could be involved in my daughter’s school and help support our LFES community. It has been a great way to get to know the staff, teachers and the students here at school. We’re hoping for an exciting 2024-2025 school year!
Sarah Laster

I'm Sarah Laster and I'm the Vice President of the PTA. I am originally from this area & have loved planting and raising my own family here. I am 'mom' to a first AND a second grader here at LFES. I have absolutely loved every minute of getting to be a part of what goes on behind the scenes to help support our school that we love so much. I am super excited that I've found a way to give back to the ones who are pouring into my kids and our community. I'm eager to see the growth this school year together!
Nivea King

Hello, My name is Nivea King Jones, and I am the secretary for Lynn Fanning's PTA this year. I am a former English teacher of 13 years, a military spouse (Go Navy!), and a mother of two wonderful boys ages 13 and 6. I am excited to be a Lynn Fanning Panther. Last year my 6 year old and I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the PTA events and volunteering, so I decided to join the PTA team. I am proud to be involved in continuing such an open and warm environment. So I look forward to welcoming and inviting all to enjoy what Lynn Fanning has to offer. This school is amazing because of the love and support parents and teachers bring each day. So come out and join us; we look forward to having you.
